Thanks! I thought some of them were novels so I didnt pay close attention. I am not really interested in the Fantastic Location products though. To me they look more like throw-in places for a running campaign or for one-shot sessions.

That's moderately accurate - they take about 6 hours to play through.

However, the maps should be reusable in other situations. (Should, not are. Some are more reusable than others).

PHB II
Not knowing exactly what this will contain has got me a bit antsy. I need to know more before I can decide on its worth. I already a good portion of the Complete and Races of lines, so if this is just a compilation of those, sans fluff, I'm gonna pass.

Based on the DMG II, I would not expect this to be a compilation of the Complete and Races series. Some material, such as specific feats needed for expanded feat chains, are likely to be re-printed. Maybe some classes will be re-printed with adjustments. However, I think 70+% of the DMG II was new material.

What I am guessing will be included (pure speculation):

The 2 remaining classes from the Miniatures Handbook (Healer and Marshall) that were not revised/reprinted in the Complete series.

Some rules for power structures (with the Powers of Faerun sounding like a rulership organization book), I expect the PHB II to include the basic rules for such, in much the same way that the DMG II laid out the rules for organizations, and subsequent FR publications made use of them.

We'll I guess we'll have to wait and see when the book becomes available or when more previews get shown. As it stands, pure speculation as to what will come in, what will be new, etc. But goodness knows if it's half as good as the DMG II, it's got to be given props.
