D&D 5E New WotC Survey! Learn About A New D&D Product!

WotC has launched a new survey about the future of D&D. This survey includes an NDA (which some people have not taken to well!) halfway through, which asks you not to talk about the survey on pain of being tracked down and fined, but it's about an upcoming (unannounced) new D&D product. You can find out what it is by taking the survey (or it's all over social media aready).

I think wotc did a good job on how I suspect the nda gated stuff was restricted as well as the survey question wording & structure being much better than their average "survey". Asking both basic competence filter Q's (this bar could have been higher) as well as in many cases questions about different aspects of a thing with different wording. This was definitely a couple notches better than their usual survey & someone at wotc might deserve credit for it in their year end review fodder file

I didn't have to sign an NDA, so I'm happy to announce that the new secret product release is the Baby Shark Campaign Setting, which will be added automatically to your iTunes account upon release.

So they're floating a VTT and digital tools for the nth time? Color me unimpressed. I'm not about to give up $1,000 in content purchased and thousands of hours of homebrew creation between Roll20 and D&D Beyond.

I think they were being ageist. I answered truthfully @51 y/o and saw nothing relating to an NDA or future product

The survey was successful in getting me to join the official discord. I had not used it at all prior to today. So good for them? Also bring back the fey gnomes! Why wasn't that a question?
