The whole Shades thing has been in a kind of Limbo since the end of 4E, ao it is going to be interesting to find out the "current" state of the Dalelands.
I'm still learning about the Shadovar... what have they done to the Dalelands? I thought they were based mostly out of Anauroch, so this intrigues me!

IIRC, in the Catyclysm which led to the 5E status quo, they blew up their city and it crashed into Myth Drannor, which is the megadungeon at the heart of the Dalelands. I might misrember the details, but they certainly blew the Shades up and didn't ever really clarify what happened (since they stopped doing novels in-house about then, and the metaplot was demphasized).

That makes sense, then! Good to know! Thank you!!

Yup, I double checked, and the flying city was destroyed in the Sundering novels, and the Shadovr have not been touched on since 2014...so it will be interesting to see if they are addressed here. Wouldn't be crazy for "Shadovar Remnants" to be a Faction or even PC Background.
