You don't need an account to read the articles.

Despite your claims that WotC doesn't publish free, easily found articles on the front page of the website, it clearly does.

The articles in the 3E era were also ads...though as they often seemed to be co tent cut from books for space, they could be pretty excellent much of the time.

GameStop stopped sending them in the mail and I never cancelled my sub. I feel cheated!
