Oh, I also ask, if you are picking the Colts, please specific whether you are picking the Colts because,

a) you hate the Pats for some personal reason ("cheating", running up the score, disrespecting the game, etc) or:]

I don't hate them but I find it funny other teams are cryin' foul because they are getting creamed and Pats won't let up on them.

Thanks. :]

As said- I have no clue. Just listening to what the guys in the morning have to say about it.

Okay...

1. I like the Colts, sort-of (though not as much as the Packers or Chargers) because two of their star players (Freeney and Harrison) are ex-Syracuse guys.
2. Recent history in this matchup favors Indy.
3. If the game turns into a shootout, Colts have far more experience winning that kind of game.
4. Colts are the home team, and Pats aren't enough better than them to offset home-field advantage; the only reason no one's talking about the Colts as the 'best team ever' is because they're talking about the Pats that way instead.

Vegas seems to think so. Remember, the home team almost always gives 3 points to start. On a neutral field, the line is Pats +7 1/2.

I'm going with the Colts though I'm not fan of theirs or the Pats (Go Steelers!!). The Colts are a different team at home and have played a lot of better teams then the Patriots. Have the pats even played someone with a winning record? ;)

Colts win 38-35

Do I hate the Pats? Of course, they're evil :]

Colts opponents this year have a winning percentage of 54% and they get to play the likes of Titans (5-2) and Jagaurs (5-2) twice a year, and have already swept the divisional road games.

Pats opponents this year have a winning percentage of 41% and they get to beat up on the likes of Jets (1-7) and Dolphins (0-8) twice a year.

What, it's not possible that it can be both?

a) I'm a Dolphins fan, and I have been for a long time. I've hated the Patriots with a white-hot passion since December 12th, 1982 (The Snowplow Incident).

b) Look at who each team has played
Pats: Cowboys, Redskins, Chargers, Browns, Bills, Bengals, Jets, Dolphins. Right now, these teams have a combined record of 24-34, or a winning percentage of 41.4%. If you take out the Patriots games, the combined records only go up to 48%

Colts: Titans, Jaguars, Bucs, Panthers, Broncos, Saints, Texans. Teams with a current winning percentage of 54% (27-23) which becomes 62.8% if you don't count the times these teams played the Colts.

The Colts have been playing a much tougher schedule, and scoring about as much.

I predict Colts 33, Pats 29. If the Colts can manhandle Randy Moss, then we'll see if he has turned over a new leaf, or if he's just everybody's buddy as long as he's winning.

Ya beat me to the punch; I was looking stuff up.

I'd take my hat off to ya, but I'm already wringing it in my hands, saying, "Woe for poor Dolphins!"

I'm so sorry for you. I'm not fond of the Dolphins either, but thats due to years upon years of abuse at the hands of Marino. Buts as a long time Colts fan, I can feel your pain at 0-8.

I'd love to see Bob Sanders hit 'im so hard Moss is blowing snot bubbles.

I'm picking the Pats both out of loyalty and because I think they're a bit better.

Also, I'm just sick to death of seeing Peyton Manning's face. I mean I'm sure he's a nice enough guy and everything, but MAN he's on TV a lot.
