Cleveland's coach resigns, team in chaos.....and they will beat the Patriots this weekend...you heard it here first!! ;)

While the relative parity of talent in the NFL, there's always "any given Sunday" - the 1996 Packers were one of the very few teams to have the #1 offense, #1 defense, and win the Super Bowl (I consider them the best team in the last 20 years), but they still lost to a very bad Colts team late in the season - but I'll be shocked if the Browns beat the Pats; New England is better on offense, defense, special teams, and in all the "intangibles" like coaching.

Yeah...you've nailed it there. Forget that they've won 24 out of the last 25...forget that they've won 2 of the last three Super Bowls...they beat the Colts because they cheated...and they've been able to continue to fool the officials for a 10-1 record this year too despite all their cheating...it had nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that maybe they were simply a better team and Belicheck outfoxed Manning.

Puh-lease...
Did I say ANYTHING about the Pats not deserving what they've accomplished? I never said the DB play was why the Pats won the game. Please don't put words (or an attitude) in my mouth. I'm extremely impressed with what the Pats have done, especially last year with a has-been-slash-never-was like Antowain Smith at RB. Calm down and stop overreacting. YOU stated that Manning wasn't that great because he choked in big games and used the Pats game as an example. I was trying to point out that there may have been a little more involved than just Manning choking when he came up against an excellent Bill Belichick defense. That's all.

Sorry to have started such a firefight. All I said was that Manning was looking like he is playing for the title of greatest of all time. Not that he is, or will be. Just that he is doing really well this season. Sure he hasn't won the big a lot of great ones haven't. The Colts are a like a boxer with one arm, offense, when is the last time a one armed boxer won a title belt. So we need a little shift in Personel we probably have the best reciever core, two Pro bowl tight ends a great Oline and we have one the top ten running backs in the league oh yeah and that guy called Manning.

Yes the Patriots are a great team and Brady is a good QB one of the best in the league right now. But who would I rather the Colts play in the playoffs. The Pats definitely not the Steelers. I am a little intimidated by Pittsburgh.

My only point is that Manning is surpassing a lot of QB's all time records while he is still in the prime of his career. And I hardly think that superbowl makes you eligible for the title, it's all in opinion.
