Despite popular NFL mythology arguing otherwise, if you don't have a halfway decent passing game in the NFL, you don't have an offense (in the college game, where talent levels are far more disparate, this isn't necessarily true). There may be individual games where a runner has a huge day, but over the course of a season, it's just not possible to win without a passing game (unless you've got one of the best defenses in the history of the NFL, a soft schedule, and run into a team that lucked their way into the Super Bowl -- and even the Ravens Super Bowl team had a much better passing game than the current one does).Crothian said:Because they do happen to have a really good running game.
