The ant charges to 55N5E. It bites the stonechild (Rolled 21+2) for 9 points of damage! The stonechild has 5 hp left. The ant hangs on and pulls the stonechild into its square! (Rolled 14 vs. 10 Grp check)
The stonechild can't break the ant's hold! (Rolled 16 vs. 18 Grp check)
Round 99: The ant fails to damage! (Rolled 18 vs. 19 Grp check) The stonechild can't escape!
Round 100: The ant fails again, the stonechild breaks out! It moves back to 60N0E.
Round 101: Both miss.
Round 102: The ant bites for 11! It holds on to a limp stonechild, who is quickly teleported away.
Next up for NG: a sand hunter. (Sandstorm) It goes next in round 102.

(I don't have Sandstorm either, so I'll continue as the mighty ant queen. Being mindless the tactics will be the same. As soon as it appears, make a charge onto it, bite and grapple until dead. As I noted in the LG thread, I'll be away and unable to post again until Fri morning)

(I'll take back over NG then, though the ant queen has been fun in its mindless simplicity.)
Gerion the centaur steps in, carrying the burden of many Elysium losses on his broad shoulders. He rears up an overhand sword swing down upon the ant.

OOC: Just to clarify what was said in the OOC thread, the large ant queen is at 55N5E, which means she covers the squares 55N5E, 60N5E, 55N10E, & 60N10E. The centaur is also large and would need to squeeze in order to take the action you propose.

Gerion's brow wrinkles in confusion as he tries to figure out what the thing is. He sheathes his longsword along his flank and pulls forth his longbow. He edges down the side of the arena as he eyes the strange being.
(Free: Declare cactus boy my dodge buddy, MEA: Sheathe, MEA: Draw long bow while moving to 80N5E)
(For speeding things up, next round Gerion will move forward to get to a short range (no range penalty) and fire away at the cactus thing, unless he is hit by a range attack that does more than 5 points of damage)
