Jack manifests another cold energy push and floats up to 60Z. He telepathically communicates to the squigly energy ball, Come and get me, Ugly.

A big floating brain is calling someone ugly.

Jack hits (rolled 18). X-Y takes the full force of the cold (rolled 17 Fort save vs. 18 DC (curse it not being a Ref save)), taking 10 points of cold damage. X-Y is dying. Jack has 9 PP remaining, 12 HP, and is at 0N0E60Z.

Round 294: Something completely different comes out for the Neutral side. Well, that is not so accurate, because X-Yo looks just like X-Y except, instead of a flaming ball, X-Yo is a frosty ball of ice. X-Yo climbs up to 0N115E20Z.

If a floating brain could grin, Jack would. This might be easier than expected.

Jack uses his abnormal superintelligence to compute the distance vector to the energon finds out that it is just less than 130ft away. Perfect.

Jack manifests energy push (electricity) on the energon, hoping not to kill it but to push it out of the arena. To maximize his potential, Jack will augment the power to 5PP, overchanneling by 1. The save DC is d20+7.

I forgot something. X-Y was not dying. When it took that last hit, X-Y exploded in a blaze of fire. The explosion did not reach as far as Jack.

Jack hits (rolled 23) for 7 points of electrical damage. X-Yo dodged the blast (rolled natural 20 Ref save vs. DC 9). The damage is immaterial, so to speak, because X-Yo is pushed out of the arena. Jack takes 5 points of damage from the backlash of the overchanneling. Jack has 4 PP and 7 HP remaining. Jack has a move action available before the next Neutral creature comes in.

Round 295: A Jack-sized beetle with ten legs and a chitinous bell protruding from its head runs into the arena to 0N5E. Its bell is emitting a faint warbling.
