A battle between "Q" creatures. How quaint. :)

Round 435: Dactyl is not blinded by Quentin's brilliance. (Rolled 17 Fort save)

He swings around to 105N25E10Z, facing west, and bites Quentin. (Rolled 28) Quentin is picked up (rolled 31 vs. 17 Grp check) and takes 15-10=5 points of damage. He has 49 hp left.

Quentin realizes he should have stayed tighter in the corner to make the pickup more difficult, his only real move being to channel forth and even greater flash of brilliant energy

(Consuming Brilliance and hope for a failed save before being tossed...)

Dactyl resists (29 Fort save) and takes 18 points of damage. He has 48 hp.

Round 436: Dactyl tosses Quentin out of the arena and flies to 65N15E10Z, facing south.

Next for NG in round 436: a bearhound. (MM III)

Boris lopes in, hoping to be able to use his greater size and strength to avoid the fate of the previous two Elysium warriors. He charges into the low-cruising Dactyl with a ferocious bite attempt.

(Charge to 65N15E0Z, use reach to Bite with +5 Power Attack, attempt to Trip the 'dactyl down into the ground if I hit)

Dactyl bites with an AoO (rolled 25) and grabs on to Boris. (Rolled 33 vs. 30 Grp check) Boris takes 20 and has 85 hp left.

Boris bites Dactyl for 16. Dactyl has 32 hp left.

Round 437: Dactyl lands at 60N15E and tosses Boris out of the arena.

Next for NG in round 437: a hollyphant. (BoED) It can enter the arena in either form.

A large, winged mastodon steps in at 115N15E and gestures fiercing, calling a terrible column of divine fire down upon the winged dinosaur.

(MEA to 11515E, Std: Flame Strike, CL15, DC18, 15d6 fire/divine)

OOC: The mastodon should be at 110N15E, unless you want him to squeeze.

Dactyl doesn't dodge, takes 45 points of damage, and dies.

A swirling dark cloud of shrapnel, 10 feet on each side, flies to 110N15E. Thousands of bladed disks crackling with electricity chops into the mastodon, causing 13-10=3 plus 5 electricity damage. The mastodon has 25 hp.

The mastodon goes first in round 438. It is not distracted by the swirling blades. (Rolled 18 Fort save)

OOC: Thanks on the correction on location.

The hollyphant attempts to ignore the cloud of shrapnel, and rises up into the air, calling forth for an ally in the form of an avoral guardinal.

(MEA: Fly to 110N15E30Z, Std: Summon Celestial (Avoral) 45% chance)

(here's crossing my big elephantine fingers!)

Round 438

No luck for the poor hollyphant. (70%)

The metal tornado flies up to 110N15E30Z and inflicts 15-10=5 plus 7 electricity damage. The hollyphant has 13 hp. Btw, AoO's by the hollyphant are having no effect.

The hollyphant is distracted by all the metal blades treating him like a shake in a blender. (Rolled 11 Fort save) He can only make a single move action in round 439.
