NG vs. N: Neutral Good Victorious!

Tralnorax gives an indignant trumpet, more of annoyance than pain. He wings over and dives down, crashing hard into the bonespure, leading with his toothy maw.

(Not actually a Charge since he has to wingover, but the description can go that way... MEA with a wingover into the bonespur, Attack with Bite with Power Attack at +5)

Tralnorax tried to bite too hard, having his teeth glance off the bonespur's carapace (rolled 28+1-5=24).

Round 543

The bonespear tries to bite Tralnorax, with no luck (rolled 19). The horn embedded in Tralnorax inflicts 8 points of damage from being jostled around in Tralnorax's body. Tralnorax has 170 HP remaining.

Tralnorax gives the thing the full attentions of his formidable weaponry: bringing bite, claw, wings, and tail to bear on the thing.

(Full Attack, no Power Attack this time)

Tralnorax has a little bit of trouble attacking with a barbed spear embedded in him, but he still hits with claw, bite, wing, and tail (worst hitting roll 27-1+1=27; best missing roll 21+1-1) for a total of 36 points of damage. The bonespear has 91 HP remaining.

Round 544

The bonespear heals up to 96 HP. It tries to bite Tralnorax, but misses (rolled 20), although Tralnorax takes 13 points of damage from the horn in his side. Tralnorax has 157 HP remaining.

Tralnorax roars a huge wave of sonic energy into the bonespear, angered at the thing.

(Breath weapon attack, that's all. Yay for Aid spells.)

(To help compress, unless the breath weapon is back next round, we'll go for another full attack, this time with Power Attack at +1. More than that I'm not ready to compress to until I see how the breath weapon works out.)

The bonespear dodges the sonic waves (natural 20 Ref save), taking 16-10=6 points of sonic damage. It has 90 HP remaining. Tralnorax can breathe again in round 546.

Round 545

The bonespur finally manages to bite Tralnorax (rolled 30), inflicting no damage. Tralnorax, however, takes 16 points of damage from the horn in his flesh. The bonespur heals up to 95 HP. Tralnorax has 141 HP remaining.

It is getting increasingly difficult to attack with this horn in Tralnorax's side, hitting only with one claw and bite (worst hitting roll 30+1-1-3=27; best missing roll 27+1-1-3=24) for a total of 20 points of damage. The bonespur has 75 HP remaining.

Round 546

The bonespur heals up to 80 HP. The bonespur again bites for no damage, although the horn jostles Tralnorax's insides for an additional 12 points of damage. Tralnorax has 129 HP remaining.

Tralnorax growls in frustration and sets to a determined, unrelenting attack.

(Full Attack, no PA. Repeat until resolved. :) )

Tralnorax hits with claw and tail ("to hit" penalty now at -4) for a total of 17 points of damage. Bonespur at 63 HP.

Round 551: B heals up to 22 HP. Critical bite for 17-10=7. Horn for 11. T at 60 HP.
No hit for T.
Round 552: B heals up to 27 HP. Critical bite for 22-10=12. Horn for 13. T at 35 HP.
Claw for 6.
Round 553: B heals up to 26 HP. Horn for 12. T at 23 HP.

Next in round 556 for Neutral Good is a woodling druid (Monster Manual III), along with its animal companion.

(OOC: Ick, that horn really gets in there. I'll have to look that one up afterwards for curiousity, but I'm not sure what I would have done any different except skipping the breath weapon attempt.)

(OOC: Both horns are on the ground now, right?)

Autumn and Greyshadow move in with Greyshadow in the lead, and Autumn pulls upon nature's power to strengthen both of them.

Greyshadow (MEA to 60N20E, Std: Readied Attack)
Autumn (MEA to 60N15E, Std: Bull's Strength on self which affects Greyshadow also.)
