Well it's all settled now folks. In the West, a complete shake up as the powers of Detriot and Colorado were dethroned in 6 games, and the Flames and Sharks now set to face each other.

In the East, those pesky Bolts are ready to test their mettle against the Flyers. I say this, Bring it on! (Just hope Kappy alright after that wicked hit by Tucker.)

Btw nice goal for JR.

So my prediction:

East: Flyers in 6
West: Flames in 6

Cup finals: Flyers in 6.

NF I just checked out the recap at ESPN.com and apparently Hitch said Sami was o.k. (though I find that rather hard to believe), his little adventure to the bench reminds me of Francis a couple of years ago, you feel bad for laughing but just can't help yourself.

Don't think it will be that easy for the Flames, and as for the Bolts, no disrepect but look at who they had to play to advance to the third round. The Flyers had it MUCH tougher and managed to win.

Yeah saw that too. I'm more concerned with Malahov, since he was out for game 6. I'm hoping it's not too long otherwise Sami might have to pull D duty again. But come on my friend have faith. I mean the Leafs' D was/is much tougher than the Bolts. Not as mobile sure, but they hit like a Mack truck. (Tucker's pretty blatant attempt to injury aside). I'm more concerned with say the D of either the Sharks or the Flames. They have some steller guys that do a lot well. Not saying it will be easy, (St Louis will probably lit up Eche at least once.) but I expect the Flyers to pull it together. Game 5 was just a sign of that in my book. But what I really felt was classy about our Captain was him coming over to Kappy after it was over and helping him out. I did laugh/wince but I'm very glad he's alright.

Now if the P-wings stop turning the puck over in their own end they just might win a game.

I like 6-2 much more than 1-3.

The refs did a really bad job of officiating at the end of the game tonight.

I can easily see this series being a back and forth affair where the two teams trade wins.

But yeah this game rocked but I'm hopeful that the Flyers can keep the unbeaten at home streak alive until the Cup Finals (or maybe even longer! )

The officating was pretty awful in the 3rd but what can you expect? Still I admit to wanting them to push it to 8...if only to break the old record.

The refs to do their jobs, never happens though.

How 'bout them Flames, while I've been rooting for them to win, their still the last of the four teams I would have expected to get a 2-0 lead and it was on the road no less.

Maybe so but like Barry Melrose has been saying about these guys "They aren't a great team but they got a lot of heart." So I'm just wondering where SJ's heart went. Up 2-0 is good. I just wonder if SJ will come back and at least try to even the series. If not, sweep or at least a split is invetible for the Flames.
