Yep this is true. However it would be nice if they faced the top seed in the Atlantic division. Still what is, is.

Well if the trend of win one lose one continues for Tampa, it sure as heck favors Calagry as they already won game 1. (Wish this had happened for the Flyers...)

Plus the fact I still feel Calargy is the better team, bad penalties aside.

Now that was a hell of a game 5.

Iginila was a monster in those closing moments. A full minute on the ice and he wasn't going to be denied.

Well not as much so since Tampax (excuse me, Tampa) has yet to win consecutive games. Thus I feel the trend favors Calgary overall. Which is as it should be. But yeah this is less of snooze fest than the NJ/Anahiem series. For two reasons:
1) Better goaltending on the other side (Kippy is in other world compared to Gigure)
2) Better opposing scorers (Still think the Closer will be a factor in this last game)
3) Overall just some damn fine skating and chances going this way and that.

Tampa wins.

Sure it's nice Dave got a Cup. But I was so cheering for a TRUE hockey town in Calagry. Oh well. Maybe next year for Calagry. God knows I hope the Flyers win next year but I doubt it. But realistically, Calagry I want to win it all.
