Interesting effect on the sword, but something seems wrong in the proportion between the pecs and abs, and the head is just... eh.

I like it. Aside from the Efreeti, I've been much more impressed with the 4e art over the 3.5 art.

hmmm

I think the art in the 3.5E MM is kinda better than this. The design for this is great..but the actual art style.

Personally, i wish they went for the level of detail as the concept art I saw some time ago for the forgeworld bloodthirster, which is based on the balor/balrog anyways...

but oh well...

Given that they want to have non-humanoids for demons, and the balor is probably classified as humanoid type, what other demons will make it in the 4E MM?

Bebilith and Marilith for sure I figure...

Glabrezu and Vrock are givens, I would think, and the Hezrou not close behind. Bar-lgura appears to be in, as well (wasn't it in Deserts of Desolation?). All of those are pretty bestial, and fit in with the reconcepted demons quite well.

EDIT: Forgot about the Nalfeshnee. That would give us the full lineup of classic Type I-VI demons.

I like it. While the body might as well be Arnold in his Conan days with a coat of paint (except for those weird abs) the head is distinctly non-human, although it does remind me an awful lot of the terror dogs from Ghostbusters...
