Ouch. Yeah, I'd assumed they would fall in the $6-7ish range (niche creature that wasnt prominent in 1st/2nd edition), but still, 8 of em would set ya back. Hopefully its skirmish stats will suck.

Set looks very good. There are a handful of figures that are musts which the last few have not had.

The Shadow looks great if only because: 1) non-descript enough to fill in any smoke like monster 2) Uncommon

I'm liking the large uncommons - giant eagle, brass golem, greater barghest, carrion crawler, chaos beast, and cerebrilith demon. All handy RP pieces. Pity the dread wraith is rare, though.

My bad, I thought you refered to the shadow dragon...

A wraith and a shadow in the same set feels slightly redundant.

Ah, so you will be my balance, since I might go away from buying cases altogether (getting the rares I want off eBay, and then a couple of common and uncommon sets, maybe even one of those complete set deals), or at least cut back on the number of cases I get.
