Nightmare Spinner worth the 9/10 CL progression?

Are we talking normal or alternate one suggestioned?
Because ignoring immunity to mind affectin is pretty beefy. You ignore type/mind Blank spell, etc.

Seeing as how that immunity is common at higher levels: this is pretty powerful effect to gain.

Are you referring to Nightmare Spinner, Starbuck? If so, was their an eratta or change of abilities from 3.0-3.5 on the class that gave it that ability? I have a copy of complete mage, and the Nightmare spinner gets no such power. Are you thinking of a 3.0 version of the class or am I the one looking at the 3.0 version? Or do you just have the wrong class entirely/have your classes confused?

It is on the adaptation listed at the end. It says he can ignore immunity. Pg 77 of Complete Mage.

Pelople should read every part of a Prestige class instead of the first few parts.

I love the adaptations of all classes: usually they are decent.

if you're going base wizard, you could roll specialist illusionist into Master Specialist into Nightmare Spinner. (depending on how high the game is)

one of the MS abilities is to increase caster level of specialized spells, thus making up for the 1 cl lost without need of a feat.
