Yet another problem for the Dallas Cowboys...

Dallas Cowboy Fullback Rookie Asaph Schwapp Arrested At Love Field For Carrying A Prohibited Weapon - cbs11tv.com

Who doesn't think carrying a throwing star onto a plane might raise a few eyebrows...and some weapons in front of those eyebrows? Did he think his ninja powers would keep the security officers from noticing the thing?

In many jurisdictions, throwing stars are illegal, period.

Not a major problem, to be sure- Asaph is a long-shot to make the team- but its like the 'Boys just can't manage to have an off-season without somebody getting arrested.

I don't give a flying :):):):) about football, just clicked because of the Ninja thing.

It amazes me that throwing stars are illegal and get hand guns are not. This is something in general that's pissed me off for FAR too long. Aren't assault weapons still legal? And yet, I bet if I tried walking around with a sheathed katana on my belt, I'd get in trouble evne if it weren't illegal (not sure if it is or not).

Which sucks, because once i have a job and money and all that nice stuff, I seriosuly was going to walk around with a katana. And a cape. A black one.

Well, what is legal to carry varies from state to state and city to city, so I'd check before walking around with a katana.

As for the illegality of shuriken vs guns? There's lots of reasons for that- few are truly convincing to me either, and I'm a lawyer.:erm:

One thing is for sure- they're definitely more concealable than most firearms.
