Not to mention the pointy corners.

Bah! You play enough SSBM, you get used to those Z buttons.Ankh-Morpork Guard said:Except the Z button is the absolute worst placing of a button on any controller, with only the black and white buttons on the X-Box controller as an equal.
SSBM is one of the most played games and its one of the big reasons I hate the Z button.Jdvn1 said:Bah! You play enough SSBM, you get used to those Z buttons.
Oh, then you must not play enough.Ankh-Morpork Guard said:SSBM is one of the most played games and its one of the big reasons I hate the Z button.![]()
Me...not play enough?! HA! I've played the game so much that I can't get anyone to play against me. I'm just too damned good at it. Its all because of a couple summers in a row that I spent with some friends just playing the old N64 version. Amazing how easily that gameplay transfered to the GC.Jdvn1 said:Oh, then you must not play enough.
Or you guys just need someone to learn y'all up. Grabbing cancels actual attacks.
Grab, hit, throw! Grab, hit, throw!
Yes, I know the feeling... they have little tournaments if you know where too look. It's easier to play against people when they don't know what to expect. They can be fun.Ankh-Morpork Guard said:Me...not play enough?! HA! I've played the game so much that I can't get anyone to play against me. I'm just too damned good at it. And I love grab attacks...which is why I HATE the Z button placement.

Unlike you, I've found it to be not ergonomic at all, that the Z button is not only poorly placed but poorly implemented overall, that the lack of a decent dual-analog control (ie. the weak "C-stick") to be a serious detriment, and the rotten placing of the X and Y bean-shaped buttons to be less than helpful. I'm not too keen on the (only two) clicky shoulder buttons, either.mojo1701 said:How is it a travesty?
