Niobe's Dilemma (Manzanita Judging)

"Don't be foolish. I've got a good number a weapons on me, even though th' whip is my signiture weapon. An' if 'e knew 'at mos' people knew 'e carried a spear, wouldn' it make sense fer 'im ta not carry one aroun' when doin' somethin' like that?"

"Remember, though, that the impostor Carsis left a spearhead at the scene of the crime, so he was trying to make it seem like Carsis did it. Thus, a weapon swap like that makes no sense--if he could have made it look more like Carsis he would have, but he assumed he wasn't being watched and switched back to his normal weapon, the sword. If it has actually been Carsis and he didn't want it known it was he, he wouldn't have left a spearhead and a note with his name."

Jaan Saaresar, male human Servant of the Greenman

Jaan watches the bandit leave and frowns. By rights, the man should have been taken in for trial. Jaan makes a note of it, something to later, when Niobe has been returned.

"I agree. There is more we can now. Better to get some rest and leave at first light tomorrow."

The paladin takes no part in the discussion about Carsis. Jaan doesn't really know enough about the man to know either way.

"Do you thikn we should arrange horses for tomorrow?"

Congratulations on L3, RA.
Before retiring, Jaan will sort out what to do with the dead and wounded bandit and the horses. Jaan is not really a mounted warrior, but he would prefer to be mounted if possible. Better mobility. Ideally a warhorse. He has the money for one.

(OOC: Did we bring the bodies? How unpolite of us :o)
OOC: I said full bodied WINE! ;) Not sure, I had thought you were doing something with them, and one's still alive.

[sblock=OoC]Troi is ready to call it a night if the others are looking to do so. Troi will help in dealing with the body (or bodies), but has no interest in bringing them in to the local authorities.[/sblock]
