Niobe's Dilemma (Manzanita Judging)

At Jaan's behest, Wil goes to each fallen body and attempts to stabilize it with skill or blessing.

Wil is able to stabilize the man before him with a cure, but by the time he gets to the one Troi felled, it's too late for him.

The two felled horsemen have shortbows and 20 arrows as well as a dagger and a long sword, as does the other man who's dismounted. The horses are riding horses

The man still seems a bit nervous, and winces as he goes to dismount. He pulls out the arrow with a grimace and throws it on the ground, and then dismounts. "They'll come after me you know, for what I've done." He looks off in the direction the archers went.

OOC: General I prefer to roll everything, but if you like to roll yourself, I won't stop you (though I retain the right to ignore it if I choose/ it's appropriate you don't know the result). If you can, post your attack/dmg stuff, but I'll go fishing for that if need be (hense my request for important info in your first post of the thread). Personaly, I like the mystery of not knowing what my opponent's AC is, and such like that.

Edit: Grr, lost the first half of this!

"Do you know where they went? Do you have a base? Well it doesn't matter. Troi can track them down--they have to stop some time. You will be safe, my friend. Do not worry."

"This one will not rise again"Wil closes the corpse's eyes.

He can't help but feel loathing for their greed and their attempt at his life. And yet, they are folk tested by the Crucible.

"These weapons are beyond my training to wield. Take of them as you wish"

"It's just some guys I gathered from in town you know? We go out on the road every once and a while and work over someone for some gold. No one gets hurt usually, and if they do, the give up the gold right quick when the archers hit. We frequent a couple different bars, and I doubt they're going back to the one we were plannin on hitting tonight."

"Well, we'll take care of them soon, don't worry my friend. Now why don't we talk about the girl and the man you saw. Tell me any details you remember. What did they look like? Height, hair colour, eye colour, skin colour, clothing, anything? Was the lady draped in his arms lovingly, or tied up, or somethign else?"

Jaan Saaresar, male human servant of the Greenman.

Jaan swings down from his horse and wraps the reins over a branch or something similiar.

"We can use the horse to carry the wounded and the body."

Jaan removes the belt, scabbard and longsword from the dead men.

"Keep an eye on Lasair and her companion." he says queitly and out of earshot of the the two in question. "Wilhelm and I can look after the dead man and the wounded."

Once Jaan has the belt around his waist, Jaan helps Wilhelm get the two fallen men on the horses. Jaan is keen to be away and back to the manor where they can unload the wounded and captured and talk freely again.

As much as possible, Jaan tries to keep an eye and ear out for any return of the bandits.

No problem. I'll just post bonuses and you can do with them as you will :P I like the idea of doing everything behind the scenes as well. I did find it a bit overwhelming, but I have two fairly large groups.

"She was sorta souched over in front of the man. I think I saw a spot of blood on her as well. She was quite beautiful though, with long black hair. The man, at least I assumed it was a man from the build, was of medium size, wearing black, with a dark blue cloak and gloves. His hood was up, so I did not see the face."

"Thank you, my friend. When you say medium size, could you estimate a height? Let's see if you can remember anything more. Did he have any distinguishing symbols or marks? What sort of weapon did he carry, if any? In what direction did he ride? Towards any particular landmark or residence?"

(OOC: Is Carsis of 'medium size'?)
