(OOC: I'd just go with the two attacks, personally--unless I miss my mark entirely, the next hit should be the injured guy's last

It's the baddies' turn I guess?)

OOC: I was telling him next turn if he told me ;)

Yup, baddies are up, give me a moment.

Rasereit Vundinn, Dwarven Barbarian (HP: 39/59, AC: 17)

Rasereit can't even feel the tearing of his own flesh. Severely outnumbered, he continues swinging, completely unfazed, driven by fervor for his faithful, fallen friend. He feints a counter attack at the replacement fighter. Razh's real focus is on the man with two weapons. His handaxe slices from above, downward toward the man's shoulder, but he manages to block with his shortsword. Anticipating the waraxe that took out his companion, the man twists to avoid the dwarf's heavy blade (1d20+9=12, 1d10+6=16). But Razh is two steps ahead of him. He frees his handaxe from the block using his strength to push the man's sword down. Then the dwarf lifts his smaller weapon high and swings it around low and to the left, driving (1d20+8=20, 1d6+5=11) it into the man's side even as he dodges the larger axe.

OOC: Rage (Round 2/8), TWF atk on #5. (Flavor text assumes that a 12 doesn't beat his AC)

Come on IC, damage does me no good if I don't hit!

(OOC: 11 is no doubt enough or else we're tangling with an overwhelming encounter (26 HP means level 3+, with 4 guys it would be CR 7, but a bit more because there are 5 of them (though not quite 8)

Now there should be two open spots...hmm, Lasair could hit them all with a Swarm of Crystals, but none would fall from 4d4 unavoidable damage and then they'd all kill her. So guards can go there for now)

OOC: Ras, you have the damage on the hand axe wrong if you wield it in your off hand. You only get half your strength bonus, rounded down, so it's only 1d6+2, or in this particular case, 8.

Raz does not drop the man (#5), though he does appear to be irritated with the dwarf.

OOC2: there are no holes, #1 steped back 5', and #4 steped in to fill in his place. As for the difficulty, giving them time to set up an ambush and then walking into it was not the best stratergy.

OOC: Rystil, please post any stats you deduce in spoiler blocks, so those of use who aren't interested can ignore it...

Bront: I assume you're rolling for stabilization?

(OOC: D'oh, thought she was still leading in the guards--she'll try some Vigour, expending focus to give herself 20 extra HP. She may need to actually fight if things turn worse)
