FYI: I have submitted (both through e-mail and their website) a request to the Double Exposure folks to see if we can get the gathering listed in the program book this year.
Or, at the very least, get a bulletin board in place that we can post an announcement about it at the 'con. If I don't hear back from them in an appropriate time, I'll make sure to mention (prior to the convention) where ENWorld members can look to see any posting about the gathering.
At this point, I'm thinking that we should look at 5 PM EST as a time to gather in the RPG room. That, regrettably, falls within the 3-8PM programming block, but it seemed like a pretty appropriate time, last year. That allows for pub food and drinks for those who desire it....and I WILL desire some brew.

I thought the show was Labor Day weekend at first (wasn't ShoreCon usually Labor Day weekend?), but am glad to see that it's later in the year: Different Worlds may be able to send some product as prizes, as well as some of the nifty color maps of the Valus we had at GenCon; we're going to contact the con to see what we can arrange
That sounds great! Shorecon has actually (at least since I started going a few years ago) always been in late September or early October. I remember all to well going to Shorecon 2001, shortly after 9/11. You can imagine what a laughing party
that was. We still had a blast, but the 'con took a bad financial beating that year from the low attendance, as I recall.
I would check with
info@dexposure.com. As of now, they're the only contact info I have for the convention, specifically.
This page here has contact information for the company that is running/organizing the event, and may be a more solid lead (as they provide a phone number).
