So, this is the thread for the No Hero's Welcome play-by-post game...

OOC: Since we're new to playing together I just wanted to throw out a disclaimer. I'm not trying to pick on anyone's character. Baraka is a feral, sarcastic, and dark humored shifter. Please don't take offense.

Also Ion - I'm not throwing you under the bus to be the leader, Baraka is just assuming so at this point.

I'll admit, I've enjoyed the brief glances into Baraka's mind we've had so far. I think he certainly has in interesting perspective on things.

The last few years i served in the Cyran army and what remained of it. But as we at the logistic and supply corps never saw much battle i never managed to rise above the rank of an ensign.

I hope it's not too presumptuous to assume that Conrad and Abe at least met in passing in New Cyre. Conrad served a fair bit of time there, trying to reorganize a Cyran military after the day of morning.

I, too, would like to post a disclaimer. Novhilion is of the Lawful Neutral alignment. However, some of his actions might seem to be Lawful Evil under a certain light, but I assure you, he isn't plotting anything sinister. His intentions are good, and he believes that the ends justify the means. Still, some of his actions may seem questionable, especially to a Lawful Good character like Conrad. So, don't be afraid to question his actions or to get mad at him, he's used to having to defend his actions!

And I agree, I do like Baraka's take on matters. I am intrigued to see how he and Novhilion interact (if they do at all)!

And, might I add that I am ENTHRALLED with the diversity here! Two humans, one experienced and the other eager, a wise dwarf, a feral shifter, a druidic warforged, and a spooky elf! This should get interesting fast...

Well, me and my unit didn´t stay in New Cyre very long, just about a week. So we may know each other by name and rank, but Abe isn´t the kind of soldier that hung around with the more veteran guys. At his heart he is a mechanic, not a soldier. If you have meet him it was most likely because one of the warforged of your unit needed repair or you had some heavy armor that was to much damaged to be of further use and you were told he is the kind of guy who can help you with that.

My unit went down to Sterngate to help forticate the fortress further, to show King Boranel how thankful we are that he let so much of us settle down in New Cyre.

A quick notice - on the 12th of June, I will be leaving for Mexico for all of two weeks. I will still be able to post (I will have limited internet access), but there's only a 50/50 chance that I will be able to do daily posts. If internet is not available at my place of residence, I will have to go to a library, which I will only be able to do once every 2 days. So, no major inconvenience, just thought everybody should know.

Yea. I'm going to be gone monday / tuesday as well I think. I might get a post in late tuesday, we'll have to see how it works out. I'm off to Calgary for a job interview.

Well, good luck! I hope all goes well with the interview. I would bring all of you souvenirs, but I don't think that will work. I'll try to resist posting in Spanish when I get back. I know, taking Speak Language cross-class is madness, but I couldn't resist!

Hey, does anybody have any clue where Andreas and Voda Vosa popped off to? It says that they haven't been around here for quite a while. Vacation, perhaps? Regardless, if they don't show up for a bit, what are we going to do?

Ah, sorry pals, my privat live was a little consuming last week. Lots of overtime at work and then i had to help my sister who is fixing her new apartment before moving in. I will post in about an hour, after i have read where we are now, and from now on will post at least every other day. Sorry to leave you hanging here, hope i missed not to much...

Not a problem, everything is fine! Glad you chose to be an Artificer, I doubt that that skycoach would have moved otherwise. My specialty is messing with dead stuff, not metal. I hope Voda Vosa shows up, though. *Poke*
