Puh-leaze. I can't believe people still think Poly is financially viable as a magazine. Give it up folks. It's a (very) niche market and the fact that it's being dropped by Dungeon speaks volumes (not to mention the fact that it was dropped as a stand-alone magazine to begin with). Putting Poly on the web for low-cost probably won't work either. It definitely won't make money.

If they really want to keep Poly around, they need to give it out to the fans to maintain and support. Like they did with Ravenloft and Dragonlance. Part of running a successful business is knowing when to cut your losses.

Bottom line: Poly isn't financially viable, despite all the love in the world a relatively tiny percentage of gamers have for it.

If Paizo wish to outsource Poly to a more creative magazine staff, then by all means, go for it! :D

Don't worry, Paizo. I will still continue to buy Dragon. Still need to work on quality, though.
