Thanks for posting the extra link to THEOcracy, Superhero Hype! just pick up on it. Now, it is Spike TV turn to say something...*first seen at Comics2Film*

I had heard the the ratings fell by half from the pilot. I think the problem was that the show was about Krista, Marcus and the vampire community (Ala World of Darkness) and not about Blade. Spike TV wanted a man show and they got a female agnst show. Speaking of which it might not just be overall ratings since Spike was going for male viewers and I bet the female viewership also made up too large of a part of whatever ratings they got.

Now while I am complaining that it was the Krista show, I did like her as an acteress and wouldn't mind seeing her in something else that is supposed to be about her.

Well, that is a switch...

Would have been a great show for Lifetime...but I think viewers on Spike were disappointed by the lack of action. Whle it debuted great, the numbers dropped very sharply.
