OOC: Valan doesn't have any ranged weapons, just his sickle and spells. *I* suggest waiting until the ghouls are visible, then powering up with a Divine Favor spell (which was listed in his character post), then engaging the ghouls in melee.
I think that would be +4 to hit and 1d6+3 damage (hmm . . . that's only 4-9 dmg, how about casting a magic weapon spell now, then the rest. That would be +5 to hit and 5-10 damage per hit)

screw the magic weapon- divine favor is enough- better to have him able to cast then move up then to have him waste time buffing all day.

OoC: Magic weapon will be enough for now thankyou. Sorry for the dalays it was a convention weekend. Should have mentioned it. :o

Valan says a quick prayer to Grendath blessing his weapon. Twirling it once in his hand he steps forward, leaning to indicate he plans to rush in on this one. Everyone ready? Luck to the Bold.

[sblock=OoC] Draw weapon, Move, Magic Weapon, Standard?, Strike cool pose and fail at a one liner. free as always.[/sblock]

OOC: Yay, LogicsFate is back!

When the ghouls come into sight, Jace will ready his shield and morningstar, trusting his more martial friends to keep the ghouls at bay.
Intentions: If Quozen decides to throw the lamp oil and manages to get some on at least 1 ghoul, Jace will close in to blast a burning hands spell on the ghouls with the priority target being the one covered in flammable oil ;)
If they are close enough to singe more than one, that'd be nice, too.

Droggle grins as his companions all seem eager to wade into melee and advances with them , banging his pick on his shield as he advances,

"Aye, I am ready, been waiting to get in on a good fight for once."

*Dorrin is already ahead of everyone because he's fleeing from his scout position, but that works out perfectly because he barely has time to put up his Shield of Faith as Quozen advances to one side after grabbing a flask of oil from Jace, Hasin to the other. Valan enhances his pick and moves just behind them. Meanwhile, Droggle readies his shield and draws his pick but stays in the back. Gloria draws and loads her heavy crossbow.*

*Then the ghouls rush into view, 50 feet away from the front line of Dorrin/Quozen/Hasin, which puts them 60 feet in front of Valan and 90 away from Droggle, Jace, and Gloria.*

*The Jace readies his shield and morningstar and Droggle advances to the front line.*

(OOC: Everyone but Jace and Droggle goes here)

AC 19, HP 14 of 14, Cha -8

"Wait for them to come to us!" Dorrin yells as he hefts his sword and braces his shield. "Then smite with the power of Grendath!"

ooc: Ready for approach, and then swing! +5 to hit 1d8+2 damage

Valan steps up to the line with Sickle and Symbol in hand. As the undead approuch he'll bid them away. Turn undead. "By Grendath's luck!".Valan's weak turn. Luck! (1d20-1=9) Damnable unholy energy tower!

[sblock=ooc]Valan was at 5 I believe, plus the 7 for the heal you rolled, (Thanks!) plus 2 from the night? Means he's at full. He was at 4 Cha + 4 Cha= 8(-1) Meaning he has two turn attempts/per day.

Failed turn Damage (2d6+1=12)
:( *cry*

Quozen thinks about throwing the oil, but knowing that the ghouls will be upon the group in a moment, decides against it.

He readies himself to deliver a fist to the first ghoul in range. (Attack +2, Damage 1d6+1).
