Following up on the D&D monster thread, this one is for villains -- individual, specifically names villains.

You get one nomination each, and the nominees will go into a poll in the few days. Picture must be included to qualify.

I'll open with Lord Soth. D&D's own Darth Vader.

Everyone knows Vecna and Strahd, but Lord Soth has a much more compelling and tragic story, steals every scene he shows up in, and even has his own Gold Box game.

If you had the chance of killing one and only one villain, who would you choose?... Strahd? Verminaard? Rajaat? Vecna? Manshoon?

I'll choose Bargle. And I'll feel good while taking my revenge.

Because in the beginning, when I started the game with the Red Box, my character fell in love with Aleena. And Bargle killed her. So I'll kill him and take his life. For Aleena!

P.S.You actually have the chance to challenge the bastard in module X10, Red Arrow Black Shield.
Otherwise you can try "Kill Bargle" in Dungeon Magazine last issue, n.150. But X10 is over-the-top epic, don't miss it. My wizard challenged Bargle in a solo duel, both the mages flying in the sky over the great battle for Karameikos.

I’m not certain on calling him a villain, but still, Meepo. Minor nuisance and favourite of my players in Sunless Citadel, WotC gave him an actual story arc in this article that saw him turn into a high level adversary: D&D Fight Club: Meepo the Kobold Dragon-Keeper
