Non-PF feats in PF

The ones posted make sense - thanks, all.

I would like to see a list compiled with reasons why. I think you can still use a lot of the 3.5 feats that were replaced in Pathfinder (though, granted, they are likely to be lacking), but what I'm really curious about are those that could break/severly damage a Pathfinder game (such as, perhaps, empowered turning).

I think a lot of feats that were balanced in 3.5 are still fairly balanced in PF, with some specific exceptions.

The thing is, a lot of feats weren't that good even in 3.5. ;)

Feats I REALLY like that are less common:
Domain Spontaneity: There are few things that really let a cleric stand out as something different than the cleric right beside him like this one, which gives a cleric a few extra uses of nonstandard spells
Arcane Disciple: A nice way to do a splash of divine magic in an arcane caster without multiclassing.

Reserve feats from Complete Mage. While at-will cantrips help fulfil my itch for 'a mage DOES mage stuff!,' reserve feats expand on this and add interesting options that, IMO, are reasonably balanced.

My question for the folks who have been playing/running PF for a while now: Do you allow feats from the 3.5 WOTC books? If you have, how has that worked out?

I'd be interested in hearing what 3.5 feats you think DON'T work with Pathfinder.

When we did the Pathfinder Beta platest, part of our group's internal playtest was mixing WotC feats in just to make sure our books were compatable. We found out in about 90% of the cases, they fit in just fine.

Pathfinder itself made a few of the old feats less desirable by making their versions slightly better or easier to use. Obviously any of the feats that tweak cleric's 'turning' won't mis particularly well.

Overall however, we used plenty of them with our Pathfinder and, providing the DM gave it a look over first, worked out just perfect.

Balance vs. Rule of fun/Rule of Cool This is one of the things I really struggled with when I was writing Feats 101 (PFRPG compatible).

If these were open content I would have loved to write a book that updated a lot of the feats that no longer work as written.
