North Carolina Game Day IV: May 8

I just created a d20 Modern event called Arkham Squad. Please someone tell me if you can find it. I see it on the "My Events" List function, but just looking at scheduled events in general, I can't see it. Also, it offers me the option to edit my event, but there's nothing to click on to actually Edit it.

Anyone else run into difficulties with their events planning?

Check it now, Henry. I think I've got it working right. And also take a look at the scheduling thread about your game over there where I describe the process in a little more detail.

Ok, folks,

After swapping a couple e-mails with Neal and some trial and error, I seem to have an good, working understanding of how the Game Day site works. It goes like this:

1) GM submits a request to run a game
2) An admin grants or denies their request (though I don't see me denying anybody)
3) GM submits details about their game including system, number of players
and requested time slot
4) Admin approves the game and assigns it to a table in one of the rooms at
an appropriate time slot
5) Game now show up as available for players to sign up for

I've approved everybody who has gone through "Step 1". From memory, these people are Henry, Jeph, Sweeny Todd and Shemeska. Only Henry has completed "Step 3", which has allowed me to do "Step 4", bringing us to "Step 5".

Also of importance is that the folks who have already expressed interest in Henry's game need to head over to the site and "officially" sign up for the game. This is for two main reasons:

1) You don't want to lose your slot to some upstart latecomer (I'm just kidding, we'll work it out so that those who expressed interest are put in Henry's game one way or another.)

2) I want to make sure that everything is working right.

I'm now off to add some more tables to the rooms so that we have that setup already when folks want to add more games. Wish me luck.

Which site?

Rel,

Which site do items 1-5 happen at?

Thanks,

~ Old One

Hey, Shemeska. I'm certainly up for a Planescape game!

Then you've got one of the slots. *grin*

I'll have some details and such for you as soon as I decide which plot I'll be going with, and then some background for it.

Partway there...

Rel,

I registered and posted the synopsis in the Forums. I think I need to be approved as a GM prior to actually posting an event.
