Sweet! Just saw that Grodog is running his vision/version of Greyhawk Castle!

I'm considering adding a second Castle session, but don't know if I can really squeeze it in....

Too bad it's happening the same weekend as Akon. Otherwise I would consider going. That's a pretty impressive list of "celebrity" guests.

No Excuse

A-Kon is no excuse. It's from Fri - Sun, you can still come to NorTexCon Thursday night and Friday morning

Besides, A-Kon is only about 15-20 min from Irving... so when you get board at A-Kon, pop over for some fun !

FWIW, I had more fun at North TX RPG Con last year than I've had at GenCon the past several times I've attended it.

LOL. I don't remember that, offhand, but I flew out on Sunday afternoon, so I missed any after-party festivities. The BBQ at Doug's place was great (although that's not happening this year), as was the tour of Reaper Minis on Sunday morning (which is on the schedule this year, though not a formal con event with a chartered bus).

Bring your dice and books, buy some raffle tickets, and be prepared to have some serious fun. If you're interested, bring some books for the GoHs to sign, too. I don't know that I can add too much more, offhand.

Just back from NTRPG and it was awesome. My only regret is that I wasn't able to arrive earlier in the week. As it was, Sat and Sun were altogether too short.
