[Nostalgia, Poll of sorts] IF you could have an old D&D product/s revamped for 3E...

Well, a conversion of Expedition to Barrier Peaks would certainly be made easier by the whole D20 thing.

If sci-fi D20 is possible (and it is), then porting hi-tech things into D&D would be a logical progression for this classic!

Vegepygmies with laser rifles! Yay!

X2 all the way.

And yes, yes, yes, Mystara and all the GAZ series.

Though, with Clark and company re-doing the JG stuff, I may have quite enough to be nostalgic about for a good long time.

Add me to the list of people who want the Gazateers back. I don't care about individual vs. hardback collection, I just want the gazateer era setting & writing, not the 2nd edition boxed stuff. Those were more consistent and detailed, but the writing was less interesting, and I didn't like most of the changes in the setting from advancing the timeline.

Hmmm....

Let me second both Keep on the Borderlands and Palace of the Silver Princess.

I got into D&D waaaay too late to experience a bunch of the formative modules such as Tomb of Horrors, so I don't own anything hardcopy except those two.

I'd ask for some sort of Combat & Tactics, but that whole book has been subsumed into the PHB.

What else have I got?

Tome of Magic -- a lot of these spells are pretty good, such as Chromatic Orb (a personal favorite). A 3E version of this, with some new spells to replace the ones that made it into the PHB and the BATTLESYSTEM spells that you'd lose.... as well as some new material to replace the advanced spell/magic item creation rules... so that's at least half the book right there, which means it probably won't get done....

The Arms & Equipment Guide still applies to 3E because it has a lot of what folks refer to as "creamy" and that hasn't changed -- a suit of studded leather is still a suit of studded leather.

"Of Ships & The Sea" would be good. I have yet to see a unified set of rules for vehicles from WotC. It seems like every adventure or module with vehicles makes up its own rules.

So, over all, some small accessories, but good for me....

Hey all,

Thanx for the replies...I find myself in agreement with the vast majority of responses here (there are some items I am not familiar with)

Henry,

You mentioned desert adventures. I agree with you. I am not a big fan of desert campaign settings, but the occasional multi-session foray ala The Lost City (B4) or similar are great fun, IMO. I'm sure you are familiar with Necropolis (if not, you should be..It is the King of all Desert Adventures, AFAIC). But have you looked at Midnight's Terror from KenzerCo? Until Necropolis surfaced this was one of the better if not best desert adventures I have owned. I have not run it, so I cannot say for sure, but I thought from a pretty thorough reading when it was released and I purchased it, that it would be an excellent choice, and easy enough to convert to whatever campaign setting you desire.

I heard they are planning to do a 3E tome of magic and book of artifacts. Someone else also mentioned birthright, would be very cool. But what I really want to see is the DARK SUN campaign setting, brutal. I'm surpised no one else mentioned in in this thread yet.

I am here to put in my vote for Darksun Campaign (Freedom and Road to Urik were fun and Dragon Crown daunting)

Also- Magical items Enclopedia (never at a loss to find something to use- only WHICH to use)

The original Castle Ravenloft

Undermt so that I can get a better sense of use/DCs/CRs for traps

Book of Artifacts

B2, X1, X2, D1-3

The Known World, in a big fat FR-style book and two poster-sized trail maps. this time include the Isle of Dawn and Sind. Except redo Ierendi and Atruaghin, they just stick out like a sore thumb.

Expand and combine X4/X5 into a mini-campaign.

I'd love to see B4 (the Lost City) expanded out into a logical, epic campaign.

I love A4 for some reason. The concept ought to be taken and redone as a standalone module.

Umm... CM3 as an epic-level dungeon bash! :-) Some of the other CM series were pretty cool too.
