It will be distributed freely. I doubt WOTC will waste their time and resources. People have been using copyrighted material for game mods for years without consequence.

The distribution of Undermountain (or any other published module) via NWN is illegal. A violation of copyright law. The company owning the IP will be forced to go after you to protect themselves and their assets.

I believe there is a post regarding this in the Computer Forum. Morrus has made it clear that he will not be allowing links to files that will be offering NWN conversions of paper products. It's illegal - end of story.

Well, why can't WotC accept these completed, converted modules and SELL them as NWN modules? They charge only so much for old modules as .pdfs, why not enter into a partnership with people who make these things and they can BOTH profit?

The players want it, the developers want it, and WotC can turn a profit without wasting any of their own man-hours.
