The rover Spirit will be launched from Earth to a dry lake bed near the Martian equator.

i watched it on PBS 10 in Portland.
pretty cool.

was pretty good. They only know if one of the probes made it. I am curious to see it the second does.

You may or may not know, but Nova will do a follow up on Tuesday on rovers landing and the pictures its sent back. Should be cool.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty neat too. Ironically, with the parachute the first thing I thought when I saw it was that the top opening was too big, before they even had the problems with it not unfolding (what were the terms)? Seeing that giant rip in the airbags was really freaky.

I'm torn between watching 24 tomorrow and watching NOVA.
