[NWN] Henchmen and levels

First off.....NWN is sweet. Been playing it pretty much non-stop for a week or so, but one thing...
Each time you level up, are you supposed to level up your henchmen as well or is it automatic for them? I know dumb question, but I only recently found out the 'You gotta level up' option when talking to them.

It's automatic.

Your current henchmen levels automatically with you. If you pick up another henchmen, you have to talk to him/her to level him/her up.

AND...

if you swtich henchmen, level up and then resume playing with your old henchman, you will have to tell the old henchman to level. But maybe that goes without saying
