as neg z said, id like to try the Buffy game but must admit I don't have the buffy book(s). will that be a problem?

I used to be a fat guy in Black... now I'm just a semi Fat guy in black, but i'm also a Goth so Black is my Norm.

Buffy can be played with out the books =)
I will have Pregens

Kings Games in Brooklyn NY is the location for the ENworld Gathering!

*lol* Okay, things have changed. In the last thread, the two options were Neutral Ground and the Knights' Games convention.

Neutral Ground was pretty practical for me: only 15 minutes from where I live (by subway, or 30 minutes running). I'll have to check how far Kings Games is from Manhattan.

Yes, I know, it cannot be thaaat far, but it can make a difference if I decide to come for a half-day: I went through one all-nighter already this week because I've got more to do than I can handle; I'd rather spare myself another sleepless night (or rather, the day that follows).

I also had to refuse a paid (hotel + con) invitation to Gen Con, this year, for the same reason: lack of time. Just to say that my whimpering attitude has more do with my situation than with your convention.

Kings Games has a great gaming area in its basment. Its quiet and well ventilated. They also have a 14 Computer LAN Network, 4 TV's with 4 Xbox's, 2 Game Cubes and 2 Xbox's. They also have a built in Deli so we wont go hungry!

My roommate has Soul Calibur II and I don't have enough time to play with him, in spite of my longing when I was a teenager for those pretty fighting games I could not hope to buy. And I doubt it'll be free at Kings Games.

The Deli, though, is a good thing! (If not overpriced, obviously.)

Ah PA, Buddy. Here are directions to Kings Games, I'll email them to you as well.

Simply Take the Q Train to Kings Highway. (thats it!) its really that simple. From Times Square to Kings highway is roughly half an hour to 45 minutes (tops) on the Q train. Kings Games is 4 blocks from there (Small blocks, not NYC long blocks). If you really have trouble we can possibly send someone to meet you at the train station, or you can just call the store (or my cell) for additional direction.

As for games, I mentioned prices for the Consoles earlier. 1$/10min. 5$/hour.

Nifty...

Actually, the Pre gens will be not be Buffy Cast, the setting is 1976 and Nikki Woods replacement is a Bad Mama named Hot Chocolate Jones! This will be the 70's action movie/Blaxploitation Buffy game.

My 1930's Pulp Slayer Donna Dare did well at BAAF, but now I'm Going 70's

I can probably make this. King's Highway is a bit of a trek from Manhattan, but I used to work out there, so I know the area.

How formal is this? Should people "sign up" for things? Are you looking for official confirmations?

(If it makes things easier, I'm a skinny guy, I could try to wear white.)
