I am slightly jealous of the un-wired wilderness part have fun

It was really nice. The weather was great. Arkansas is beautiful this time of year. There was fog coming off the lake each morning and we even saw a bit of wildlife. I spooked a rather large buck deer coming back from breakfast the last day. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning taking religion, politics and philosophy and around a campfire in the evening talking about about less lofty topics like books, TV and movies. In between there was drinking premium spirits, eating decadent food and gaming. Since I was playing rather than GM'ing this year I got to spend more time making food and drinks for all, which was good for the mouth, but not the waist.

It was nice for a group of 9 men to be able to spend a long weekend talking about topics that are often considered contentious without any rancor or ill feeling. Admittedly, there was a good bit of banter, but all offered with love. I have returned only a little worse for the wear and ready to game. So, I'm off to the IC thread to catch up.

Anyway, I've got Wi-Fi, but the kid filter seems to be blocking ENWorld. I keep getting tapatalk push notifications but can't open them. I'm back Monday but I'm happy for Uhtred to lead the way into danger if you like.
