Ohio Gameday 3: March 13th - Event is over! - Planning for Gameday IV begins?

OKay okay I am finally finding some time to post. I can run as many game slots as you want and I can run whatever you want. I am thinking an evil campaign might be fun. Not like serial killer evil but more like Mel Gibson in Payback type evil. I am open for anything though. If anyone has a good module they wanna suggest I can do it. Let the players decide. I figure no matter what it is, it will end up goofey and slap happy just like everything else.

Also for anyone who is coming in from out of town. I have two extra bedrooms and a full basement if you need it. Just let me know. Have fun.

Sorry about not being able to get this done earlier - I had a Day from HellTM today.

D'shai, I've already got you set for an evening slot, but will consider you a "pinch hitter" for a morning slot if we need it. Also, if we have a need/demand for it, I'd be willing to run a game of Paranoia - its always fun to vaporize a clone or six. As we get closer to the deadline, I'll begin firming up the schedule.

And as for D'Shai's basement, its a finished room with its own separate bathroom - those interested in coming and staying with him should probably give him a PM soon. And if you don't get an answer from him in a few days send me a PM and I'll poke him for you.

Other than that, I'll try and keep this thing BUMPed and updated!

Are all the games going to be d20 or 3rd/3.5 ed games? I have no idea how to play and I'm pretty sure none of my players do. Should we study up or what....your opinions?

To answer the last question, no, the game I'm planning on running isn't d20, it's Exalted, which is a White Wolf game. But if there aren't more people interested in playing, I may cancel it with apologies to Enkhidu and bingo us to the "alabaster cup" game, so we can get enough people together for at least one full game.

I'd like to play in Dshai's evening D&D game, as well.

Noskov: mosty of the games being run will likely be d20 3e/3.5e games. Being at least somewhat familiar with 3e rules will always help, but won't be strictly necessary (I have a feeling we can supply enough people who know the system!). If you want to run a 2e game, by all means sign up for one - though speaking for myself, I'm not even sure I remember enough to make the transition backward!

DanMcS: If we don't get enough feedback about the Exalted game, I'll go ahead and drop that game from the list - I'll let you make the call on what is "enough feedback" so let me know sometime next week.

D'Shai has also said he will run a pickup game in the morning if we end up having a lot of people who did sign up beforehand, and I will bring enough material to run a quick Paranoia mission if the interest is there.

I don't think I'll be running anything. It's hard enough making time for planning the home game. I'm just crunched at work and the pregger wife and 2 yrd old are just consuming too much right now.

I will try and read up on 3rd ed before coming though...which is, unfortunately, not as certain as before. See time consumption problems above.

It's official. I'm gonna miss my first Ohio Gameday .

Despite kind an extremely generous offer of lodging, I just can't make this trip work for a variety of reasons that don't bear discussion. Sorry everyone. I hope you all have a blast in my absence!!
