I'm 90% certain that one of our party members is about to turn on us and "go evil" (change of GM, PC becomes NPC sort of thing)
He's a Psionic Warrior 5, Sorcerer 3 I believe, and I'm pretty sure our GM is going to tip the scales heavily in his favor.
I play a 7th Monk and we have a 7th Paladin, an 8th rogue, a 4 bard/4 fighter, and a 7th cleric.

Any good tactics to use against the psionic world?

I'm used to dealing with clerics and wizards... and as powerful as thay are they have their individual weaknesses (for example, if you use disarm to take a cleric's holy symbol away from them, it cuts out about 90% of their spellcasting ability)

But I'm not too familiar with Psionics.
Any help?

PsyWar 5/ Sor 3?
Sounds like an unpowerful combination, like when the Brb/Wiz/Rog turned against us in Hong's game.

You should know what spells/powers he has, that should make it easy.

Geoff.

From the description you gave, he'll be toast unless he picks on you one by one (and even then it's a 50-50 chance or therabouts). What sort of abilities and equipment does he have?

Actually, it was a brb1/ftr4/sor1/rog4, with a two-bladed sword and a longbow. I got rid of the brb level. It was just too much for me.

A second barbarian level would have been nice against flanking ;)

Assuming the Psywarrior can't use Expansion&Psionics Lion Charge with Power Attack and Great Cleave to annihilate that group (or most of them) in one attack... nuke him with Will save or Refl save (grease!) things.

Just to reiterate, psi warriors are all about the buffs. You can be sure that he'll be buffed to the max before he attacks. Ready a dispel magic or two, and you'll spank him like a red-headed stepchild.

As has been said. Strip him of buffs and have someone readying to knock out any attempts to further buff. One advantage of out numbering an opponent when they need the magic/psi to buff up is you have people who can keep some pressure on them and someone who can knock out spellcasting/psi use either through countering it directly or doing enough damage to force those concentration checks.

also grappling a single oppenent works well when dealing with creatures/humanoids of the same size as you. It starts to fail as you run into bigger monsters but against normal people it serves as a good tactic to restrain them and allow others to take the opponent out.
