Okay...some of your thoughts on Weird War II

Ace, I found the GURPS WW2 book as an invaluable resource in helping plan out a number of things in the campaign I'm preparing.

How comprehensive is the GURPS WW2 book? One of the problems I noticed with WWII: Blood on the Rhine is that you're pretty much stuck with the "Fortress Europe" campaign. I'm starting my group of Rangers at the invasion of Italy and had to read a lot of other books to get all the information (thank you Time-Life!).

Kato,
My take is that it's a very comprehensive book. I mean, you'll still need history books, but it does cover all the theaters (ETO, PTO, North Africa, China-Burma-India/Southeast Asia, Middle East). It even has a number of pages that discuss each of the major combatants and information on nearly all the nations involved (usually a paragraph or two on the other participants and their contributions beyond the standard Big Five-China, Russia, US, UK, France-and Axis Powers) They may spend a little too much space on vehicles IMO, but over all the book is a keeper for me.

I was looking for an organizational breakdown for US Army Rangers. It isn't covered in "Blood on the Rhine", so I was wondering if it was in GURPS WW2.
