OK, but i'll finish off the feats after we get the BoVD feats thread done. more to come on that over the weekend. i'm assuming that Psicraft comes from the PsiHB? (don't have it here at work anymore)

reposting it here on page 3:

The fiend lords have an insight bonus to AC – anyone figured that out yet? Comes from Wisdom maybe?
Also, they do not have maximum HP.
Do you like him at huge size? I advanced him according to MM rules and a bit beyond that before making alterations from Serge’s template.
I decided not to make them DvR 0.

COMBAT
Like most couatls, Omata is not likely to attack without provocation.
Spells: Omata casts spells as a 20th-level sorcerer, except that he does not need material components. He can also cast spells from the cleric list and from the Air, Good, and Law domains as arcane spells.
Spell-Like Abilities: At will – detect chaos, detect evil, detect good, detect law, detect thoughts, invisibility, plane shift, polymorph self, rainbow pattern; 3/day - prismatic sphere, prismatic spray, and prismatic wall. These abilities are as the spells cast by a Xth-level sorcerer (save DC X + spell level)
Psionics: Omata can manifest any psionic power as a Xth-level psion.
Omata has access to all psionic attack and defense modes.
Poison (Ex): Bite, Fortitude save (DC 35); initial damage 2d4 temporary Strength, secondary damage 4d4 temporary Strength.
Constrict (Ex): Omata deals 4d6+18 points of damage with a successful grapple check against Gargantuan or smaller creatures. Often, Omata uses a stilled and quickened spell against other opponents while constricting a foe.
Summon Couatls (Sp): Once per day, Omata can automatically summon 1d4+2 couatls.
Telepathy (Su): Omata can communicate telepathically with any creature within 90 feet that has an Intelligence score of at least 1. The creature can respond to Omata if it wishes – no common language is needed.
Ethereal Jaunt (Su): This works like the spell as cast by a Xth-level sorcerer.
Water Breathing (Ex): Omata can breathe underwater indefinitely and can freely use his spells, psionics, and other abilities while submerged.
Outsider Traits: Omata has darkvision (60-foot range). He cannot be raised or resurrected.
Celestial Traits: Omata can communicate telepathically with any creature within 100 feet that has a language. He is immune to electricity and petrification attacks, and he has cold resistance 20, acid resistance 20, and fire resistance 20. he receives a +4 racial bonus to Fortitude saves against poison.

Looks good. What about my Immunity to Prismatic Spells? ;)

Huge sounds good, considering that most Dark Lords are large or huge.

Psion level should propably 10 or so.

Psicraft is indeed from the Psionic Handbook, it is the psionic equivalent of spellcraft. As for the psionics, I think giving him access to all psionic powers is overkill, he is not a deity after all. Instead I suggest you take the list of psionic abilities from the Couatl entry and add between 5 and 15 additional powers.

And, yeah, where is the immunity to prismatic spells? :D

I also, humbly, suggest you add Obscuring Mist and Call Lightning to his spell-like abilities.

Other than that, looks good, and about a CR 24 to 26. Treasure should of course be at least double standard :D

Later,

not bad but think he needs control weather 1/ day he is a rain bringer and giving Prismatic Spells Immunity is a unque and a cool idea

I haven't got the BoVD so I haven't seen the arch-fiends. What sort of CR are we looking at in the end because it seems from what we have that he's at least CR 40 going just by character class (20th sorcerer and then able to manifest ANY psionic power, that's not even considering that psions are supposed to have only a few powers)

Is that right? :D...if so that's pretty cool :p

Also as a huge being is he supposed to be able to constrict gargantuan beings?

Sorry if this is a real newbie mistake, I haven't made creatures before and I'm not to good at crunchy bits :)

I may take a stab at this using my Kerubim template to see how he comes out. If you don't mind, Omata and Boz...?

I'll have it up tomorrow or Sunday. I suppose I'll have to read up on my Psionics Handbook...

I suppose that it is meant to read manifests powers as a Xth level psion.
A short overview puts Omata at about CR 26 if we go with 10th level psion. (loosely based on UK's CR system.)

Large couatl can constrict Huge creatures, so this is right. :)

I would possibly also add Control Weather as a 3/day or at will ability.
