The provinces of ancient Egypt were called Nomes, and their rulers call Nomearchs. I think we need a Gnomearch. Which is obviously a Gnome Warlord.

That would be a Gnome with 20 levels of Wizard wanting to multiclass into something else so (s)he can keep leveling up.

I suppose in 5e, any nominally race-exclusive class option would be a sub-class, like the Bladesinger & Battlerager in SCAG, but, really, PrCs would work so much better...
