If you were going to assign levels to the Farscape characters, what would you give them under (A) 3E and (B) d20 modern?

I ran a half-orc sorcerer for a little while that started out as a rip off of Morpheus of the Matrix, but ended up a rip off of Scorpy.

So, what are going to do tonight Scorpy?
The same thing we do every night, John, try to destroy the Scarrans!

Bear in mind that I think that a good level for the "average" character on a TV show is the 11-13 range -- powerful, but not superdeadly.

D'Argo: Fighter12 in D&D

Strong3/Tough5/Dedicated2/Soldier3 in d20 Modern

My rationale for the modern classes is as follows:

D'Argo is demonstrably tough. He can take a ton of punishment. His Strength is undeniable, and I figure it'd be easy to give him a bunch of Strong levels, but the thing is, I see D'Argo as a perfect example of someone who has a high strength, but not a ton of levels in Strong. He ISN'T an unstoppable killing machine -- his base attack bonus shouldn't be the highest in the group (that'd be Aeryn, I think). The fact that he has a much higher Strength than Aeryn means that they end up hitting about the same amount of time -- he hits more in melee, she hits more in ranged.

I think that D'Argo as a character is occasionally sensitive and insightful enough that a level or two of Dedicated was in order -- but that could just be D'Argo having a high wisdom.

And as for Soldier levels, they make sense, although as his backstory comes out in the show we realize that he's not as much of a soldier as he made himself out to be.

I don't know what the levels would be, but I think the classes would be like this:

D'argo: Barbarian - Luxan Hyper-rage

Aeryn: Fighter

Pip (I mean Chiana): Rogue, what else?

Rygel: Aristocrat

Nyranti (or however it's spelled): Adept

Sikozou: Expert

Scorpius: not sure

Chrichton: Fighter/Expert (he does have several scientific degrees, after all)

For those who are no longer on the show:

Zhann: Cleric or Druid

Stark: Cleric

You can consider this a mini-bump...

I've looked in the Farscape d20 book at the stat blocks for the main characters but I can't recall them at the moment. I do know the classes are different in that game and you are looking for D&D and d20 Modern representations so give me a bit and I should be able to whip something up.

Off the cuff I would say that D'argo, Aeryn, Chiana, Rygel are pretty easy as for classes (as mentioned). But the levels may be a bit hard to pin down. It all depends, I guess. Do you want stats and level for the current arc or from when the show started?

Oh, speaking from D20 Farscape:
If you want to roleplay in the FarScape Universe, consider buying the book, (nice artwork + nice background material) but ignore the rules chapter.

If you are a fan and consider buying it, do it, because there is some well done artwork in it and some interesting background material in it, and you won`t be bothered by the rules...

Oh, and just in case you want to know it - the rules suck.
