I ran a GURPS Star Trek game for years that included magical elements. It was very low key, and was played as a first step in humanity joining the Q continuum, but used the regular GURPS rules for magery, etc. At one point the PCs chased a bad guy through a dimensional rift and ended up on a very D&D world. Just never liked mixing genres at all...perhaps I'm 'scarred' from a game once where our characters encountered Klingons!![]()
Needless to say, after explaining my dislike for that type of game I didn't play under that GM again. He had other players who loved it and that's cool...
