One of my NPCS is missed

Tinker Gnome

Adventurer
Hehe, well my group has started a new campaign and one of the NPCs I made for the former one is missed by the players. Granted he was run by the current DM for a bit when we switched out so I could be a player, but he was my creation.

Ahhh, Gnomey Mcgnomgnome you shall be missed. :)

Ok...so was there a question in there that I missed? or perhaps a funny anticdote that I didn't see? Or were you just making a blank statement?

It was a blank statement. I was expecting replies along the lines of "Yeah, it does feel really good to know that your players liked an NPC."

What the Shaman said :)

I've had a couple of such situations with NPCs. One of my groups currently has an NPC travelling with them for a while. I asked them not too long ago if they wanted me to drop the NPC out of the story so that we have just the PCs in the group, and the reply across the board was, "Hell, no! I really like him."

With a name like that, I miss him too. I love you Gnomey!

Reminds me of Chris, the NPC in my Ravenloft game who was a human fighter around 70 years old with full age penalties. But, every time he did something I rolled amazingly well, and on the rare occasion when I didn't roll really well, the PCs were all like "CHRIS couldn't do it! We're doomed!" and not even try themselves. 'Cause they thought he was a badass. But, he was actually just really lucky...

I havn't the heart to tell them the truth. It would break their little hearts.
