The party will soon be in need of another member. Zagnak is most likely thinking of pursuing other opportunities. I believe that the best fit may be a wizard or sorcerer of some sort. Please post any ideas here, and I'll try to choose someone before the party gets back to civilization (or not, if you're that sort of PC).

For those that had submitted characters in the first round, I'd love to have you, but I don't think most of the ideas will really complement the party at this point. Think about an arcane caster (or something I haven't thought of) for another submission. On the other hand, if you think your character will be a perfect fit, just post and tell me why.

I have not yet decided on an adventure. I'm out of town a bit for Christmas, but will be back looking through bookstores as of tomorrow. I'll be attempting to make the choice by the start of the new year, and will post shortly after that with a request/deadline for character submissions.

I'm like as not to choose a campaign designed for a specific setting. However, I won't necessarily be using all of the details of that setting (since I'll likely not have access to the source books).

For example, if an Eberron adventure does not require that there be warforged PCs, or that I have a lot of material regarding the cities therein, I'd be fine with it.

As for the adventures, i'll take a look around. Haven't played much published adventures, so almost everything will be fine.

If you're up to doing some conversion, Expedition to the Barrier Peak would be extremely cool.
Deep Horizon by Skip williams also looks interesting. I've never actually seen it but a 13th level underdark adventure would probably be fun. I have looked through Expedition, but other than the fact that there's robots and other technology running around, I don't remember it.

Well, it was a lot of hard, hot work, but we made such good progress excavating the city wall that the national parks service decided to officially incorporate the site. Oh, and we could hear the bombing over in Gaza every night... quite an experience all around, really!

Ahem. As to this campaign, I thought City of the Spider Queen looked fun. It's set in the Forgotten Realms, but the adventure's very much self-contained. It starts PCs at level 10 and goes to ~18.
