One-shot to run for novice?

Hey all,
I've played my fair chunk of different systems, but I've only ever DM/GM'd 4th edition D&D and Dark Heresy. (Oh, and Kobolds Ate My Baby... but that's not really a DM-able game ;) )

So, for my first Pathfinder/3.x DM experience, I'm going to be running a one-shot as relief for my DM. His nephew is going to be in town and is dying to play--I think he's in his mid to late teens--as his dad played 2e and it's a family thing now.
So, this will be the nephews first RPG foray... ever.

Anyway, we only have time for one session so I'd like to run something prewritten or something simple. I can easily write up a good one shot (B.A. in English... un-useful in my IT career but very useful at the tabletop) but I'm wanting to investigate pre-written stuff.

I have a copy of Forge of Fury, a 3e module for level 3 characters. Looks fun, but not really designed for one session of gameplay.

I'd like to do level 3 characters, or something that takes level 1 and shows off the fun of the game really well. (Generally speaking I see new players get a bit befuddled by their lack of epic-ness at level 1... so I worry a bit about using level 1 as an intro to RPGs.)

Thanks... I think if this were a one-off for just an experienced group, we'd go for it. But, with the nephew of our DM playing for the first time ever, it needs to be something more traditional ;)
(Also, the DMs wife and I are experienced players but my wife is a novice, so a Goblin-PC game is something our group, as a whole, isn't quite ready for yet.)

However, I am totally keeping this module in my back pocket for the future!
It looks like a blast.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I think I'll plan to run Master of the Fallen Fortress... it's pretty close to the right length already. If we get another session in, I'll tie it in to some of the Pathfinder Society modules.

Everflame looks great--that's going in my back pocket for later ;)
