(OOC) D&D 3.5 - Paridon: The Dark Metropolis (Ravenloft)

:p Actually, it's interesting... Dareios is supposed to be LN with a tendency to LG, while Calahan is supposedly CN with a tendecy to E....

Yet, Dareios might create much more uproar than Calahan, *because he's on a mission*...

Just be make sure Calahan is careful around Torhan...I would hate to strike him down with a holy smite for giving in to the ways of the dark side.

Rhun, I think your character has other problems to worry about than holy-smiting anyone. Speaking of which, who has the half-gnome template? We might be needing it. ;)

Darian is a little twisted as well, I think. I don't think I'd call him evil, but he's certainly not good either, at least not internally. We'll call him Chaotic Confused.

Yes, they should definitely write that one into the books.

There has to be a template around for that somewhere. :P

Twisted works in Ravenloft. Remember, evil is both punished and rewarded... I've already worked out the first couple of steps in the downward spiral for everyone if you want to go that way, and I won't stop you.

But I won't force it on you, either. Darian's experiences thus far are probably the best example of what's happening in that arena. Even now, though, his choices will have long-reaching effects. Or will those effects be the result of someone else's decisions?

:]

:) As I read the rules, CN makes one just very selfish and egocentric, not necessarily evil. However, that selfishness comes with a lack of loyalities to others or a system. This doesn't necessarily imply unethical behaviour, though certainly a high grade of excentricity...

IVV,

I'm going to pull out of this game, with regret. I'm not giving it enough time and attention, and I feel that I'm not contributing anytning to it. Life is incredibly hectic at the moment, and I really need to pay attention to RL issues, so I'm cutting down on my posting.

Good luck with the story, and I hope that I haven't messed things up. Actually, I'm pretty sure I haven't, since you seem well able to adapt to the vagaries of your players' actions.

Have fun, all!

All the best,

Boddynock

Good luck, 'nock. Hate to see you go, but I do understand the trials of RL. Hope to be able to game with you again soon.
