(OOC) D&D 3.5 - Paridon: The Dark Metropolis (Ravenloft)

I'd say "close," but that depends on the goals of the players/PCs. We could enter dénouement now, or is there anything else you hope to accomplish before the next adventure begins?

BTW: The coup de grace was great. Torhan did get through to defeat the menace.

Well since Torhan is dead, any goals that I had for him are moot. So I'll leave it up to the other players to decide what is left to accomplish.

I'm assuming the denouement will connect some of the dots I'm missing. I think our initial murder victim was originally attached to the head of this beastie that Torhan killed, and that said "victim" was actually re-creating itself in the process. I think I may be missing how he's specifically connected to this gnome mafia we've been playing cat-and-mouse with, though.

So long as I'm right on that first part, I think this ends the initial part of our investigation, at least, though it strikes me all sorts of juicy subplots have sprung up along the way, presumably to be followed up on as the campaign continues. :)

Yeah, at this point, the campaign is either "follow up some aspects of the case further" or "call it a day, and let a bunch of juicy subplots dangle into the next case." In the former case, we'll continue, but in the latter case, we'll wrap it up and hand out rewards, get the statue in Torhan's honor erected, that sort of thing.

In either case, will the Rose Company want to increase their ranks (at least by Rhun's character)?

Also, if you want to wrap it up... then we have to ask about Calahan. How much trouble do you want him in? :]

Can't speak for the others, but personally I'd like to find out where this thing came from, and why. It's dead, sure... but we still haven't really answered any questions.

At least that's how I see it...

Sounds like votes to continue this chapter. Rhun, feel free to use Perrin until you come up with the replacement you want. Perrin's among the bucket brigade, so you're back in the action.

Feel free to continue from where we left off.
