It seems that some believe vampires and evil in general to be getting out of hand. Some even are taking it as far as saying that they will not allow their characters to interact with certain others in the chat. I myself find this unprofessional and rather childish. I am a reasonable player as I have stated that many times and as a reasonable player I will say that I would willing meet requirments of other players to make the experience as nice as possible. But shutting out other players whom wish to have a nice time is just not right. Many think that some players are being quote: "Corny, cheesey, jackasses, etc..." when most of the players I have spoken with myself and they are no such thing. Holding a grudge for these type of characters OOC and using it IC to tell a player that your character will not interact "period" with their own, then something is not right. Just because evil is growning in the ISRP, I have already heard extreme amounts of uncalled for feedback on it. Then I propose you find a way IC to take care of it without pushing other players away. Feel free to speak about this, after all I did make this thread for that exact reason. All I ask that players co-operate instead of fighting constantly about others being cheesey or what not.

I agree, quite simply put. It's always been tough to RP evil, though... I guess it just goes with the territory. Personally, I've found my evil characters rejected out of hand sometimes too. FoD is a fickle thing...

On an unrelated note... nice siggie, by the way.

i dont know

its still a game and understanding should be set in before, and well some people find that many of the vampires are acting out of character for what they are, falling in love, sexual acts when they have no need for them, oh and seeing them in the day time, yeah its a problem, but it is free forum. If they wont play with you, then do not play with them? Also, vampires are very hard to kill, and most as it is in there ability ignore damage and other things.. that also leaves a bad taste when 5 people attack on vampire and they all do seemingly nothing, or at a point when they should have died, IE Defcarr going into a spell of sunlike to strike another character many times without instantly ashing after one round. They dont want to put up with that, and should they? No, but hey its just a game, ya dont like that player, find another.

Thanks, JeaJea, I could make you one if you'd like. :) And yes, about the day and night issue, it would be nice if ISRP had some sort of all around clock so there would be one exact time for everyone. It could be night for one player, and day for the other. See what I mean? Kinda so-so there. And I agree, vamps shouldn't truely fall in love, but as for sexual acts vampires tend to be arroused during feeding. A natural stimulant that gets the blood pumping. Having sex and lust for a vampire is an excellent way to play one out. Note that in many movies etc.. vamps seduce their victims. But we are in a chat that is widely known for using d20 rule sets. And might I add that if you refer to Fangs & Fury A Guide To Vampires there are references to Daywalkers. I myself am not completely sure on the requirments or plus or minuses. But there is that possibility to counter vamps not walking the light.

And, something I left out. I myself have a very weak vamp with an HP scoring mearly 78. I would die with one could attack from a well built character. So me being jumped by 5 characters is completely out of the question unless I really feel like getting fragged majorly. XD

LOL Not everyone ignores, but the ranks are growing. It is much appreciated that you do not ignore as well, thank you. :)

Bleh i feel it is unacceptable to take the bane away from vampires, in the D20 system they are already hard enough to kill, and also, rarely have i ignored anything that was not atleast a character moving at mach 8 :P lol, and as i said it is best to have all this dicided in the PM, i could care less who attacks any of my characters, as long as they arn't screaming im 80th level, and all stats are 100.

Agreed, but keep in mind. Not all go by table top rules on this chat. So blurting stats to an uninformed player would seem to be a bunch of jibberish to them. As long as someone knows when to take a hit, and when the could block or dodge in a legit manner than all should be well. And deciding in PM is growing more unpleasent.

I can understand that, and as for people not wanting to be involved with Defcarr, well unless they post the script that gives the story about the even that happend, everyone will assume the extreme worse, and do you blame them, from what is said and going around. But anyhow. As i said, they wont play with you, find another, their loss right?
