Lumrolur slips onto the passage, trying to rain unseen, using shadows of his conpanions as distractions from being observed.

He avoided the last blast, and additional light from the trap might make the difference.

So...without giving too much away (as I hinted at something in my last post)...you could go straight to Arcana, no need for Nature, if what you're more interested in is "what could I do with this creature / its body parts?"
